Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using HabitUnlock's website and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services.

Description of Service

HabitUnlock is a mobile application designed to help users manage screen time by completing an in-app activity before accessing selected apps. Available activities include timed push-ups, guided breathing, and walking. The app uses Apple's Screen Time frameworks to implement app blocking functionality.

Free and Paid Features

HabitUnlock includes free features and optional HabitUnlock Pro features. The exact features in each tier are shown in the app before purchase and may change as the service evolves. A paid subscription is not required to download or begin using the app.

Subscriptions and Free Trials

HabitUnlock Pro may be offered as weekly, monthly, or annual auto-renewable subscriptions. The App Store purchase sheet displays the price, billing period, and any applicable taxes in your local currency before you confirm.
Eligible new subscribers may receive a seven-day free trial. Eligibility is determined by Apple and is shown in the purchase flow. If you are not eligible, the purchase sheet shows the amount charged immediately.
Unless you cancel, a free trial converts to the selected paid subscription when the trial ends, and each subscription automatically renews at the end of its billing period.
Payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation. Renewal is charged within the period Apple specifies before the current term ends, at the price Apple displays to you.
You can manage or cancel a subscription in Apple Account settings or through the App Store. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period; deleting HabitUnlock or its app data does not cancel an Apple subscription.
Restoring purchases restores eligible access associated with the same Apple Account. It does not create a separate HabitUnlock account.

Refunds

Apple processes all App Store payments and refund requests. HabitUnlock cannot issue an App Store refund directly. You may request one through Apple's purchase-support process. Refund eligibility is decided by Apple and applicable law; nothing in these Terms limits non-waivable consumer rights.

User Responsibilities

When using HabitUnlock, you agree to:

Use the app for its intended purpose of improving screen time habits
Not attempt to circumvent app blocking features in unintended ways
Not use the app for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
Be at least 13 years old to use the service

Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality on the HabitUnlock website and app are owned by HabitUnlock and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Disclaimer

HabitUnlock is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that:

The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
The app will help you achieve specific health or productivity goals
App blocking features will work with all apps or iOS versions

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, HabitUnlock shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages resulting from your use of or inability to use the service.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes through our website or email.

Apple Terms

Your download and use of the iOS app are also subject to the Apple Media Services Terms and, where applicable, Apple's Standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement. If these Terms conflict with mandatory App Store terms for the purchase or license, the applicable Apple terms control that issue.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by the laws of the State of Texas, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
